摘要: The successor states of the former Soviet Union present a unique opportunity to study changes in socio-metabolic profile cohort nations which underwent radical and contemporaneous shift economic system. That change was from being regions within an economically integrated, centrally planned whole, independent left find their own place global situation these since dissolution provides rare experiment, we might observe influence different starting conditions each nation on development path it subsequently followed, attendant profiles resulted. Here take examine patterns for region as three individual countries. We also relative importance drivers material consumption using version IPAT framework. Finally, area follow-on investigation suggested by significant positive correlation observed between growth states, degree they improved productivity. This latter is potential assessing whether dematerialization acts primarily accelerate or retard growth.
