Changes in the Self-Concepts of Divorced Women

摘要: Abstract This study, conducted on a heterogeneous sample of 70 divorced custodial mothers in Israel, explores changes the self-concept women. Findings showed that most study participants saw themselves as having changed, and improved, surveyed aspects self-concept. Comparing their present situation to before divorce, reported they became more independent, control lives, responsible for themselves.
