摘要: A benzene–thermal reaction of TiCl4 and NaN3 at 350°–380°C was conducted for the preparation nanocrystalline TiN. Powder X-ray diffractometry patterns indicated that powder cubic-phase TiN with a lattice constant a= 4.23656 A. Transmission electron microscopy images showed powders consisted uniform spherical particles an average diameter 50 nm. The binding energies Ti 2p3/2 N 1s core levels positions 454.85 397.1 eV, respectively, Ti:N atomic ratio 1.08:1.00 were detected by photoelectron spectra. possible formation mechanism proposed.
