摘要: In anoxic sediments, as those found in estuaries, the mobility of metals can be controlled by formation stable sulfide complexes. The potential bioavailability a metal then predicted on basis acid volatile (AVS) and simultaneously extracted (SEM) criterion. Distributions AVS SEM (Hg, Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Ni) along sediment profiles were determined seasonally for three rivers that constitute Santos-Cubatao estuarine system (SE Brazil), which is located one most industrialized areas Latin America. concentrations varied significantly, from 0.04 to 31.9 μmol g−1 0.086–6.659 g−1, respectively. highest levels sediments detected winter, whereas high values predominated summer. Considering SEM–AVS molar differences parameter evaluate bioavailability, nearest industrial area represent higher risk biota, especially during It due relatively low not necessarily metals.
