摘要: Many pathologic conditions are associated with elevations in the production of endothelin-1 (ET-1) blood vessel wall. Because many these cytokine-driven we examined effects a mixture cytokines and lipopolysaccharide on ET-1 human vascular smooth-muscle (VSMC) cells derived from internal mammary artery (IMA) saphenous vein (SV). Incubation VSMCs IMA SV combination tumor necrosis factor-α (10 ng/ml), interferon-γ (1,000 U/ml), interleukin- 15 β (500 U/ml) μg/ml) for up to 48 h markedly elevated expression mRNA release into culture medium. We conclude that low levels ET-I peptide increased by exposure LPS. This suggests during inflammatory states VSMC, as well endothelium, may be site significant
