摘要: The human thymic microenvironment is important in promotion of T cell maturation, particularly during early stages ontogeny. Hassall's bodies (HB) are epithelial swirls the medulla that thought to be derived from endocrine medullary epithelium. To study ontogeny and function various components microenvironment, we have produced four monoclonal antibodies (TE-8, TE-15, TE-16, TE-19) selectively reacted thymus with HB. Antibodies TE-8 TE-16 cells forming outer rim HB swirl. Antibody TE-19 entire cellular portion immediately surrounding Granular foci greater than 90% antibody TE-15. During ontogeny, antigens defined by TE-8, were first detected fetal on beginning at 16 wk gestation, age when morphologically appear thymus. Aberrant expression corresponding was observed tissue individuals severe immunodeficiency disease. In skin, stratum granulosum; TE-15 corneum. Thus, use TE-19, identified as antigenically distinct regions Furthermore, shown these anti-HB reagents also react epidermal keratinocytes terminal keratinocyte maturation.
