摘要: Glucocorticoids (GCs) are the most common group of medications used in treatment allergic and autoimmune disorders. They produce potent anti-inflammatory effects by inducing or repressing expression target genes. Although patients with diseases disorders respond to GC therapy, a small subset demonstrate persistent tissue inflammation despite high doses GCs. This condition results from an interaction between susceptibility genes, host's environment, immunologic factors. The these requires systematic approach rule out underlying conditions that lead steroid resistance failure, as well use alternative strategies inhibit inflammation.
