摘要: Background: Studies have reported that patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) a high incidence of osteonecrosis the femoral head (ONFH). Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is an effective management ONFH. However, little data exist regarding use THA for HIV ONFH in China. This study reviewed outcomes HIV-positive who underwent ONFH, compared HIV-negative individuals. Methods: The from September 2012 to 2014 Beijing Ditan Hospital, Capital Medical University were retrospectively studied. Twenty-eight and 35 48 THAs 45 cementless components, respectively. records follow-up reviewed. Harris Hip Score (HHS) was applied evaluate pain function hips before after THA. Complications such as wound healing, surgical site infection, deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, sepsis, mortality, complications prosthesis operation time, blood loss, hospital stay between two groups. Results: mean period 19.5 ± 5.8 months (ranging 6 30 months). age at time surgery years old, which significantly lower than group (42 old) ( P > 0.05). HHSs groups improved Conclusions: more likely occur bilaterally younger males. development seems faster patients. should be cautionary asymptomatic low viral RNA level primary stage. Despite longer times patients, still safe efficient approach treat much previously reported. long-term needed.
