摘要: To contribute to the complete mitogenome database of species Canis lupus familiaris and shed more light on its origin, we have sequenced mitochondrial genomes 120 modern dogs from worldwide populations. Together with all previously published sequences acceptable quality, reconstructed a global phylogenetic tree 555 C. l. mitogenomes standardized haplogroup nomenclature. The presented here available online at http://clf.mtdna.tree.cm.umk.pl/ could be further used by forensic evolutionary geneticists as well cynologists, for data quality control unambiguous classification. Our in-depth phylogeographic analysis confirmed that domestic may originated in East Asia during Mesolithic Upper Paleolithic time periods started expand other parts world Neolithic times.
