摘要: Abstract This paper incorporates the commuter's time-of-use decision into a model of optimal pricing and service in urban mass transit. The is closely related to highway bottleneck model, with waiting time at transit stop treated analogously queuing bottleneck. difference arises intermittent nature capacity provision. It shown that (1) increased ridership leads higher average user cost, (2) relationship between frequency does not conform well-known square root principle.
