摘要: We present results on resonant Raman scattering (RRS) in perpendicular geometry excited with circularly polarized x rays at the Co L 3 , 2 edges CoFe O 4 (Co ferrite) and metal. In this incident x-ray beam is to magnetization magnetic dichroism only RRS not absorption. compare 3s-RRS channel terminating an inner shell 3s hole extra 3d electron (2p 6 n →2p 5 + 1 ) 3d-RRS ending a electron-hole pair → 2p ). The work based measurement of spectra vs photon energy integrated over scattered energy. both samples inner-shell about order magnitude larger than that valence channel. result explained by theory fast-collision approximation. show provides general way choose optimum study geometry. impact briefly discussed.
