摘要: Cholangiocarcinoma is frequently found to invade local tissues and metastasize distal organs. We investigated the expression of CD24 in cholangiocarcinoma samples its prognostic significance. In addition, cellular function was studied RMCCA1 cell line. High significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis positive surgical margins patients. Univariate multivariate analyses further demonstrated that associated overall survival these patients (p=0.007 p=0.040, respectively). For vitro studies, magnetic-activated sorting (MACS) system used isolate CD24+ CD24- populations from cells. cells had increased chemoresistance, adhesion (p=0.004), motility (p<0.001), migration (p<0.001) invasion capabilities when compared The matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-7 elevated (p=0.01). inhibition using siRNA silencing decreased invasive capacity Both clinical studies suggest disease progression. may thus serve as a new target for directed molecular therapy cholangiocarcinoma.
