摘要: The CDKN2 gene that encodes the cell cycle regulatory protein cyclin-dependent kinase-4 inhibitor (p16) has recently been mapped to chromosome 9p21. Frequent homozygous deletions of this have documented in lines derived from different types tumors, including breast suggesting is a tumor suppressor involved wide variety human cancers. To determine frequency mutations carcinomas, we screened 37 primary tumors and 5 established by single-strand conformation polymorphism analysis. In addition, Southern blot analysis was performed on set five carcinoma samples lines. Two revealed deletion gene, but no were observed any carcinomas. These results suggest mutation may not be critical genetic change formation carcinoma.
