摘要: This paper discusses a number of challenges facing researchers who study electricity markets. We know the basic ingredients for successful market, but not how to fine-tune designs. that market power is often problem, could do with more accurate models strategic firms. It clear retail competition offers best protection small consumers, and there are unanswered questions about security supply. Finding effective mechanisms link markets together, regulating transmission system, will become increasingly important as deregulation spreads. And we should forget since major aim our research find ways in which industry’s performance can be improved, won’t happen unless pay enough attention ensuring advice adopted.
