摘要: The pathways responsible for flowering time in Arabidopsis thaliana comprise one of the best characterized genetic networks plants. We harness this extensive molecular knowledge to identify potential quantitative trait genes (QTGs) through candidate gene association mapping using 51 loci. genotyped common single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at these 275 A. accessions that were also phenotyped and rosette leaf number long short days. Using structured techniques, we find haplotype-tagging SNPs 27 show significant associations various trait/environment combinations. After correction multiple testing, between 2 10 remain significantly associated with time, CO arguably possessing most promising associations. a subset an independent recombinant inbred line population derived from intercrossing 19 accessions. Approximately one-third outbred replicated both populations, including CO, FLC, VIN3, PHYD, GA1 loci, coding region deletions FRI gene. conservatively estimate ∼4–14% known may harbor alleles contribute natural variation life history trait.
