摘要: We report incidental observations of Wolves ( Canis lupus ) tolerating human activity in central Wisconsin. Three monitored packs raised pups close proximity to varying levels activity. Wolf were <350m from rearing pens the endangered Whooping Crane Grus americana ), which saw daily One pack used cornfields as rendezvous sites within 175 m a maintenance shed visited regularly by workers. Another centered their activities along well-traveled state highway using both verge and road center for Aerial locations 10 yearling adult dispersing plotted evalute densities natal territories relative dispersal post-dispersal territories. As live closer humans, living areas higher densities, they can be expected more habituated people, increasing probability human/Wolf conflicts.
