摘要: This paper examines the use of audio glances for giving an impression size, complexity and topology abstract graphs. The first step in nearly all reading tasks, but particularly those complex structured information such as equations, tables diagrams, is a glance. brief high-level overview allows reader to start understand nature his task, develop strategies reading. Yet glance currently unavailable visually impaired readers. We describe algorithm generating earcons that present through non-speech sound. An evaluation demonstrated these were successful conveying graph sighted volunteers. success this means readers can now their graph-based tasks with some benefits bring.
