摘要: A tumor is a heterogeneous population of cells that provides an environment in which every cell resides microenvironmental niche. Microscopic evaluation tissue sections, based on histology and immunohistochemistry, has been cornerstone pathology for decades. However, the dawn novel technologies to investigate genetic aberrations currently adopted routine molecular pathology. We herein describe our view how recent developments technologies, focusing proximity ligation assay padlock probes, can be applied merge two branches pathology, allowing profiling under histologic observation. also discuss use image analysis will pivotal obtain information at cellular level interpret holistic images sections. By understanding communications microecology tumors, we better position predict disease progression response therapy.
