摘要: Proximity assays are immunohistochemical tools that utilise two or more DNA-tagged aptamers antibodies binding in close proximity to the same protein complex. Amplification by PCR isothermal methods and hybridisation of a labelled probe its DNA target generates signal enables sensitive robust detection proteins, modifications protein–protein interactions. Assays can be carried out homogeneous solid phase formats situ visualise single molecules complexes with high spatial accuracy. These properties highlight potential research, diagnostic, pharmacological many other applications require sensitive, specific accurate assessments expression.
