摘要: Two possible explanations for the stimulatory effect of estrogen and progesterone on protein synthesis by preimplantation mouse embryos are that hormones: (1) stimulate directly; or (2) induce changes in uterus turn affect embryos. To determine which these possibilities is correct, blastocysts were retained one oviduct a ligature at uterotubal junction; mice then either left intact hypophysectomized. 35S methionine was injected tubal uterine recovered prepared radioautography. Blastocysts utero incorporate only if pituitary present. On other hand, oviducts regardless hormonal status mother. This suggests influence level inducing rather than stimulating directly. In addition, from uteri between day 5 10 post coitum transferred to pseudopregnant females test their ability develop into normal fetuses. Uterine normally while percentage capable development dropped sharply 10. Therefore, it suggested dormant condition during delayed implantation may serve protect damage.
