摘要: A study has been made of the catecholamine content various canine sympathetic ganglia. The data have related to anatomical location ganglion cells supplying kidney and hindpaw. Retrograde transport horseradish peroxidase from filaments renal nerve labelled cell bodies in ipsilateral superior mesenteric ganglia one three contiguous lower thoracic paravertebral chain. In most prevertebral ganglia, ratio tissue level dopamine (DA) that noradrenalin (NA) lay between 3 7%. relative DA levels were significantly higher (DA:NA = 8--20%) sacral regions. some animals, and/or coeliac also greater than mean values for these individuals. Reserpine pretreatment depleted NA stores abolished or substantially reduced fluorescence all After reserpine followed by administration a monoamine oxidase inhibitor l--DOPA, was restored neurons corresponding those normally having raised levels. This local restoration correlated with dramatic increase amount equivalent contralateral 50--280%). These results suggest that: (i) catecholamine-containing are distinct noradrenergic their high ability bind following reserpine-induced depletion, (ii) relatively restricted distribution, lying T8 L1 L7 S2 chain They occur at locations which projecting hindlimb likely be represented. Our consistent pharmacological evidence presented elsewhere juxtaglomerular vessels arteriovenous shunts hindpaw supplied dopaminergic dilator axons. other peripheral effectors upper abdomen may innervated
