摘要: SUMMARY: The polar carotenoid fraction from Sarcina flava does not appear to be a free carotenoid, but associated with glucose and peptide. seems glycosidically bound the through its reducing group. Presumably peptide is linked either primary or one of secondary hydroxyl groups on carbohydrate molecule. A model in vivo state complex bacterial membrane has been proposed.
