摘要: Hypertension is an important component of metabolic syndrome. Adulthood hypertension and syndrome can be programmed in response to nutritional insults early life. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) serve as a nutrient-sensing signaling linking programming All three members PPARs, PPARα, PPARβ/δ, PPARγ, are expressed the kidney involved blood pressure control. This review provides overview potential clinical applications targeting on PPARs prevent syndrome, with emphasis following areas: mechanistic insights interpret hypertension; link between insults, syndrome; impact PPAR pathway maternal high-fructose model; current experimental studies intervention by modulators Animal employing reprogramming strategy via have demonstrated interesting results. It critical that observed effects developmental animal models replicated human studies, halt globally-growing epidemic syndrome-related diseases.
