摘要: Purpose Current approaches to understanding and resolving the problem of poverty have not proved effective. This paper aims provide a new explanation why we failed what must be done improve our understanding, decision-making, action success. Design/methodology/approach Integrative propositional analysis is used evaluate synthesize theoretical practical perspectives on from five academic disciplines disparate organizations. Findings Individual were found low levels complexity systemicity. Research limitations/implications Clear research directions are shown accelerate improvements in understanding. Additionally, results may useful guide for developing computer models poverty. Practical implications The causal knowledge map synthesized theories suggests where practice relatively effective unanticipated consequences more likely occur. Social implications Policy decision-making address lead successful resolution. Thus, continue until develop systemic understanding. Originality/value This interdisciplinary provides structural perspective been able solve – shows how far yet go reach success.
