摘要: Rat liver 5 S and 5.8 rRNAs were oxidized with periodate the 3' termini coupled to Sepharose 4B through an adipic acid dihydrazide spacer. Ribosomal proteins passed nucleic affinity columns form ribonucleoprotein complexes containing that bind it (5 . L6, L7, L19; L19, S9, S13). Pure isoaccepting species of yeast initiator-tRNA (tRNAfMet) elongator-tRNAs (tRNAmMet, tRNAPhe) chromatographed on ribosomal columns. The three bound complexes. elongation initiation ternary complexes, EF-1 alpha GTP Phe-tRNAPhe, eIF-2 Met-tRNAfMet, also both columns, whereas binary complex puromycin not.
