摘要: Acute alcohol intoxication, a common disease causing damage to the central nervous system (CNS) has been primarily studied on aspects of addiction and chronic exposure. The understanding gene expression change in CNS during acute intoxication is still lacking. We established model for SD rats by oral gavage. A rat cDNA microarray was used profile mRNA cerebella alcohol-intoxicated (experimental group) saline-treated (control group). total 251 differentially expressed genes were identified response which 208 them up-regulated 43 down-regulated. Gene ontology (GO) term enrichment analysis pathway revealed that involved biological processes immune endothelial integrity are among most severely affected intoxication. discovered five transcription factors whose consensus binding motifs overrepresented promoter region genes. Additionally, we 20 highly connected hub co-expression analysis, validated differential these real-time quantitative PCR. By determining novel pathways have functional implication our study substantially contributes molecular mechanism underlying pathology alcoholism.
