摘要: D-Cycloserine can enhance activation of the NMDA receptor complex and could induction long-term potentiation (LTP). In animals humans, D-cycloserine performance in learning memory tasks. This enhancing effect disappear during repeated administration. The effects are also lost when higher doses used, replaced by behavioral biochemical like those produced antagonists. It has been reported that agonists, applied before or after tetanic stimulation, block LTP. may be result feedback inhibition second messenger pathways stimulated activation. explain antagonist-like glycine partial agonists D-cycloserine. clinical trials age-associated impairment (AAMI) Alzheimer's disease, chronic treatment provided few positive on memory. due to following stimulation complex.
