摘要: With the widespread use and advances in radiographic imaging, Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms (IPMNs) of pancreas are identified with increasing frequency. Although many studies have addressed its biology treatment, true understanding natural history continues to elude us. Its malignant potential places careproviders a clinical dilemma balancing morbidity pancreatectomy against risk transformation while under continuous surveillance. Recently, there been conflicting data published literature, generating more uncertainty field. In this article, we critically analyze contrasting consensus guidelines from International Association Pancreatology American Gastroenterology Association, address lingering questions controversies. We also synthesize newly context current standard care, provide comprehensive review recommendations for diagnosis, follow-up strategy management patients Neoplasms.
