摘要: Some vital components of marine shellfish are documented as an important source for both nutritional and pharmacological applications. These bioactive compounds multifunctional in nature they function anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, antidiabetic anti-hypertensive agents so on. Shellfish-derived molecules such lectins, glycoproteins, agglutinins various endogenous free amino acids fatty display potent immunomodulatory functions associated with human health. In addition, many synthetic immunomodulating commercially available the market, but also cause some side effects to patients. However, substances derived from natural origins safer cheaper cost. Shellfish derivatives regulating biological activities immune modulation far underexplored. Therefore, this review, we discuss properties shellfish-derived emphasize their therapeutic potential diseases.
