摘要: Abstract The use of adhesives in place traditional joining techniques as welding and riveting is becoming increasingly common structural design. Compared to other conventional processes, adhesive bonding offers several advantages: including acoustic insulation, vibration attenuation, structure lightening, corrosion reduction uniform stress distribution. These benefits can be offset if the surfaces bonded are not carefully cleaned, degreased prepared. Many approaches surface treatments based on physical or chemical modifications have been developed years order improve activity. Although widely used very efficient, these present disadvantages. Physical methods mechanical abrasion supposed extend area they increase roughness, but cause an extensive degradation specimens often easy reproduce. On hand, typically with aim modifying both morphology substrates layers, serious environmental problems waste disposal, which has moved investigations industrial alternative processes. According, energetic cleaning, such laser plasma cleaning processes recently consolidated since useful modify topmost layers substrates, increasing their reactivity, without affecting bulk material properties. offer effective environment-friendly processing different materials, providing strong durable bonds through modification functionalities. In this study, effects low pressure properties joints investigated compared performing lap-shear tests.
