摘要: For an effective application of polymers, it is essential to have good adhesion behaviour ensure mechanical properties and durable components. Unfortunately, in general terms, polymers are characterized by high chemical inertness, which leads very low surface energy values and, consequently, poor adhesive properties; this particularly true for polyolefins. In study, the effects pressure plasma treatment on roughness polyethylene polypropylene samples shear bonded joints based these substrates been investigated. particular, optimization three process parameters, exposure time, voltage working gas, were studied performing measurement, contact angle evaluation lap-shear tests. The experimental results show that optimized may remarkably change morphology, increasing wettability surfaces strength joints. These remain almost unchanged even after some days storage laboratory.
