摘要: Gastric carcinoma is one of the most frequent malignancies in world and its clinical behavior especially depends on metastatic potential tumor. In particular, lymphatic metastasis main predictors tumor recurrence survival, current pathological staging systems reflect concept that spread relevant prognostic factor patients undergoing curative resection. This compounded by observation two-thirds gastric cancer Western presents at an advanced stage, with lymph node diagnosis. All therapeutic efforts are directed toward individualization protocols, tailoring extent resection administration preoperative postoperative treatment. The goals all these strategies to improve prognosis towards achievement a (R0 resection) minimal morbidity mortality, better quality life.
