摘要: Based on data of bryophyte invasions into 82 regions five continents both hemispheres, we aim here at a first comprehensive overview the impacts that bryophytes may have biodiversity and socio-economy. Of 139 species which are alien in study seven cause negative 26 regions, whereas three socio-economic sectors regions. The vast majority stem from anecdotal observations, only 14 field or experimental studies (mostly Campylopus introflexus Europe) quantitatively assessed an bryophyte. main documented type impact is competition (8 bryophytes), with native cryptogams being most affected. In particular, C. (9 regions) Pseudoscleropodium purum (7 affect resident composition. few caused by form dense mats lawns then considered nuisance. Most been recorded natural grasslands, forests, wetlands. Impacts socio-economy recent phenomenon, >85 % biodiversity, 80 since 1990. On average, 40 years (impacts biodiversity) 25 socio-economy) elapsed between year has as region first. Taking account substantial time lag record region, it seems to be likely currently moderate will continue increase. As quantitative rare restricted environments biogeographic there need for addressing potential yet understudied settings.
