Legalising sex work: The regulation of 'risk' in Australian prostitution law reform

摘要: Debates about the legalisation of sex work in Australia have tended to focus on 'risks' that need managing and regulating. However, some states, framing these risks has been dominated by socio-cultural political concerns, such as morality suburban serenity, rather than concerns workers industry. In this article we discuss how envisaged debated two case study states (South Western Australia) since 2000, consider why Bills repeatedly unsuccessful reforming law. so doing, apply a conceptual framework tease apart framings 'risk' crime policy generally.
