摘要: This paper focuses on the role of small and medium-sized ports (SMPs) in enhancing competitiveness logistics performance multi-port gateway regions associated inland systems. The concepts developed will be applied to northeast China, a region around Bohai Sea Economic Rim (BER). Port competition is analyzed by multi-variable methodology generalized common characteristics SMPs compared ports, similarities SMEs are also compared. Later this paper, we analyze SMP such different variables: (a) cargo volume market share; (b) international connectivity; (c) relative cluster position; (d) port city hinterland connection; (e) distribution function. five-dimension analysis combined with in-depth cases study typical Yingkou describes profile BER provides future possibility for more worldwide.
