摘要: Epidemiological and clinical studies suggest that dementia patients aged ≥ 85 years are biologically different from those 65-84. This study aimed to assess whether (>85 years) have a distinct sociodemographic profile. Older had lower educational achievements, carer relationships, were more likely take meman- tine/concomitant treatments be institutionalized. Differences observed with respect concomitant disease/other risk factors (depression, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, hypertension). Oldest greater impairment (more severe Global Deterioration Scale stage, Mini-Mental State Examination scores). Greater drug use younger carers associated older higher management social costs.
