摘要: Next generation sequencing (NGS) allows fast and massive production of both genome transcriptome sequence datasets. As the Mediterranean mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis is not available at present, we have explored possibility reducing whole efforts by using capture probes coupled with PCR amplification high-throughput 454-sequencing to enrich selected genomic regions. The enrichment DNA target sequences was validated real-time PCR, whereas efficacy applied strategy evaluated mapping 454-output reads against reference transcript data already for M. measuring coverage, SNPs, number de novo sequenced introns, complete gene sequences.
