摘要: Information is sent from one cerebral hemisphere to the other almost exclusively via corpus callosum and anterior commissure, with forming major pathway. The regions of cortex subserved by these two pathways vary across mammalian species, so that all interhemispheric connections in monotremes marsupials are there no (Ebner 1967; Heath Jones 1971; Granger et al. 1985; Cusick Kaas 1986). In eutherian (placental) mammals, however, most callosum, only temporal interconnected axons coursing through commissure Myers 1965). primates, a limited region near pole lobe (Jouandet Gazzaniga 1979; Pandya, 1975; Zeki 1973). Thus, depends on for transfer information.
