摘要: Tissue microarrays (TMAs) have become a standard tool for tissue-based research during the last decade. In cancer research, depending on available data attached to arrayed tissue, three main types of arrays are commonly manufactured. Prevalence TMAs no further and suited estimate frequency occurrence particular alteration. Progression include tissues different stages disease, instrumental study role marker protein tumor initiation, progression, or metastatic growth. Prognosis contain with patient follow-up data. These key uncover clinical impact molecular markers. combination normal tissue representing healthy tissues, prevalence, prognosis allow rapid comprehensive analysis markers in human cancers. also successfully used many noncancer applications, such as Alzheimer's inflammatory disease research.
