摘要: This article illustrates how institutional transitional processes influence the intended sustainability outcomes in protected forest management Cameroon, using case of Tofala Hill Wildlife Sanctuary. The study revealed that major setback attaining sustainable does not necessarily lie conflicting interests actors, but also social guided negotiation these interests. Processes initiated by bureaucratic institutions did adequately appreciate efforts existing indigenous structures. differences modelling change agents had negative impacts on governance and disrupted collaborative actions. argues structures should just be regarded as mediators management.
