摘要: An 18-month-old male basset hound was presented with vomiting, diarrhoea and depression. Abdominal ultrasonography revealed a mass in the left kidney. ultrasound-guided core-biopsy indicated aggregates of spindle cells, but did not allow definitive diagnosis. Nephrectomy performed after period six months, when ultrasound examination slight increase dimensions. Histologically composed neoplastic cells forming interlacing fascicles, bundles whorls, within loose myxoid to dense collagenous stroma. Immunohistochemically were positive for vimentin smooth muscle actin. Based on these findings tumour diagnosed as congenital mesoblastic nephroma, classical variant. After two-and-a-half-year follow-up dog clinically healthy, indicating benign behaviour. To authors' knowledge, this report describes first case canine nephroma successfully treated surgically, reasonable postsurgical follow-up.
