摘要: Both biomass dominated green vegetative cells (GV) and astaxanthin-dominated orange resting (OR) affect the final astaxanthin yield in industry. Examination of Haematococcus pluvialis revealed that OR greatly varied from GV at both cellular subcellular levels. In particular, thylakoid membranes were disassembled fragmented. Furthermore, conserved most photosynthetic pigments, with elevated concentrations violaxanthin, antheraxanthin, neoxanthin. Notably, moderate photosynthesis was detected OR, even though disassembled, when compared those GV. However, energy distribution pattern between photosystem I II (PSI PSII) favored PSI, which also confirmed by 77-K fluorescence. As zeaxanthin not we attribute acclimation role to astaxanthin, instead xanthophyll cycle. Additionally, proteomic-scale comparison analysis thylakoids indicated no photosynthetically remarkable variations. an extensive mechanism H. proposed, proteins noted be involved accumulation stress response. Conclusions comparative might provide some physiological background for production using pluvialis.
