摘要: SummaryBackground Cow's milk allergy is one of the most common food allergies in children and no treatment available. Dietary lipid composition may affect susceptibility to develop allergic disease. Objective Assess whether dietary supplementation with long chain n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 LCPUFA) prevents establishment allergy. Methods Mice were fed a control or fish oil diet before during oral sensitization whey. Acute skin response, serum immunoglobulins as well dendritic cell (DC) T subsets mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN), spleen and/or small intestine assessed. Results The acute response was reduced by more than 50% sensitized mice compared diet. In addition, anti-whey-IgE anti-whey-IgG1 levels decreased group. Serum transfer confirmed that Th2-type humoral suppressed since sera had diminished capacity induce an effector naive recipient sera. Furthermore, upon passive mice. percentage activated Th1 cells MLN sham The Th2 both sham- whey-sensitized contrast, showed increased CD11b+CD103+CD8α- DC association enhanced FoxP3+ regulatory (Treg) mice. Conclusions Clinical Relevance Dietary LCPUFA largely prevented murine model for cow's suppressing enhancing local intestinal systemic Treg reducing symptoms, suggesting future applications primary prevention allergy.
