Spatial Variability of the Depth of Weathered and Engineering Bedrock using Multichannel Analysis of Surface Wave Method

摘要: In this paper an attempt has been made to evaluate the spatial variability of depth weathered and engineering bedrock in Bangalore, south India using Multichannel Analysis Surface Wave (MASW) survey. One-dimensional MASW survey carried out at 58 locations shear-wave velocities are measured. Using velocity profiles, rock surface levels determined. Based on literature, 330 ± 30 m/s for or soft 760 60 hard considered. Depths corresponding these ranges evaluated with respect ground contour top have mapped interpolation technique natural neighborhood.
