Employment outcomes of persons with a mental disorder and comorbid chronic pain.

摘要: Objective: This study examined the independent and interactive effects of common mental disorders chronic pain conditions on employment work outcomes among individuals under 65 years old. Methods: Cross-sectional data were analyzed from second wave Healthcare for Communities (HCC2), a household telephone survey U.S. civilian adults conducted in 2000-2001 (N=5,328). Common assessed by using short-form version World Health Organization's Composite International Diagnostic Interview. Chronic identified self-report. Logistic linear regression analyses used to provide estimates impairment basis presence disorder or condition both. Results: The interaction between was significantly associated with no pay past 12 months (odds ratio=2.3,95% confidence interval=1.2-4.2) number days missed month because health (regression coefficient=1.47, SE=.59).
