摘要: Objectives: This study investigates the effect of a range potential risk factors on severity gingival overgrowth in transplant patients medicated with ciclosporin absence any calcium channel blockers. Materials and Methods: One hundred dentate solid organ transplants (but not blockers or phenytoin) were recruited for study. Demographic, pharmacological periodontal data recorded assessed from stone models. Results: Univariate analysis identified duration transplant, papilla bleeding index, creatinine serum concentration, azathioprine prednisolone dosage as severity. Multivariate modelling, excluding parameters, gave predictive model that included dosages ciclosporin, azathioprine, weight (p<0.0001, adjusted-R2=19%). Adding variables strengthened adjusted-R2=34.5%). Conclusion: The explanatory models this contain number moderate inflammation (azathioprine prednisolone) are markers it (papilla index). Dosage each three immunosuppressants was factor change. observation appears to have been masked by effects earlier studies.
