摘要: The term growth factor is generally used to describe small polypeptides that act locally modulate cell and differentiation. Broadening of the use this dictated by recent advances in understanding means which cells signal one another at cell—cell, tissue, physiologic levels. Growth factors should be considered as class extracellular signaling factors. latter, more encompassing includes, addition factors, classic endocrine hormones, hematopoietic immune system cytokines, cell—cell adhesion molecules, matrix proteins. Members all these groups are involved control differentiation, capable initiating sort transduction usually associated with (see also Chapter 3).
