摘要: Forty-five hospitalised patients with DSM-III-R diagnosis of mania, were found to have a mean red-cell folate level 193 nmol/l, as compared 896 nmol/l in the control group (P<0.00001). Assessment serum both groups showed no significant difference levels. Furthermore manic and controls matched by socio-economic status. This indicated that reduced mania is associated illness not due absorption or dietary deficiency folate. Considering previous studies depression, our findings suggest occurred phases bipolar disorders.
