摘要: Selected biochemical evidence suggests a potential role for n-3 long-chain PUFA (n-3PUFA) in the regulation of mood and behaviour. The present paper reviews relevant evidence, to date, from epidemiological studies, clinical studies intervention trials. Most is available investigating n-3PUFA depression, depressive illness suicidal behaviour, but work also on anxiety anxiety-related disorders, fatigue fatigue-related aggression, hostility anti-social inattention, impulsivity attention deficit hyperactivity disorder schizophrenic disorders. For all these aspects currently limited highly inconsistent, both terms study methodology findings. There clear need further this area.
