摘要: A 73-year-old woman with a 3-month history of fever unknown origin underwent F-18 FDG positron emission tomography (PET). The serum C-reactive protein was 9.62 mg/dL. Her systolic blood pressure 120 and 96 mm Hg in the right left arms, respectively. PET images demonstrated intense uptake aorta bilateral subclavian brachiocephalic arteries consistent Takayasu arteritis. After 6 weeks immunosuppressive therapy, follow-up scan showed disappearance large vessel FDG. She asymptomatic, normal (0.06 mg/dL).
